根津神社へ夏詣 Summer pilgrimage to Nezu Shrine

2024年8月、根津神社に夏詣に行きました。根津神社は、東京メトロ千代田線「根津駅」より徒歩5分程のところにあります。
夏詣とは、夏越しの大祓を経て、過ぎし半年の無事を感謝し、来る半年を清々しい気持ちで過ごせるよう節目としてお詣りすることだそうです。
また、根津神社境内社である駒込稲荷神社ではかざぐるま祭りが開催されていて、ひとときの涼を感じました。
灼熱の太陽の日だったからか、参拝客はまばらで、ゆったりと夏詣することができました。
In August 2024, I went to Nezu Shrine for a summer pilgrimage. Nezu Shrine is located about a 5-minute walk from Nezu Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line.
A summer pilgrimage is a time when people go to the shrine after the summer purification ritual to give thanks for the safety of the past six months and to spend the next six months feeling refreshed.
In addition, the Kazaguruma Festival was held at Komagome Inari Shrine, which is located within the grounds of Nezu Shrine, and I felt a moment of coolness.
Perhaps because it was a scorching hot day, there were only a few visitors, so I was able to enjoy a leisurely summer pilgrimage.
